Maintenance Matters
Our equipment is only as good as those who care about it.
Whether it’s new, fairly new, or old makes no difference if we don’t do our part to maintain our equipment. Taking the 5-15 minutes to perform general housekeeping or the daily maintenance checks can increase the life of our fleet significantly. Also, ensure that the daily maintenance checks are filled out so that we can track any issues, whether they are new or ongoing.
The Importance of Oil Filters
When performing an oil change, it is important to remember to change out the oil filter as well. Just changing the oil is not good enough. If the oil filter fails and allows debris in the oil to bypass the filter, then it doesn’t really matter if the oil has been changed or not.
Good maintenance practices are transferable from work. Not changing the oil or oil filter within the assigned maintenance interval on a personal vehicle can void the warranty.
